ITS Test Block
The ITS Test Block is built for quality long lasting connections to the
devices it services. The modules of the Test Block consist of plastic
casings that house two silver-coated copper springs, which touch during
normal operation. This touching point of the two silver-coated copper
springs is ensured by two pressure springs, which induce opposing
pressures from both sides. The silver-coated copper springs are
connected to brass termination blocks, which allow for ring cable
connections.

Modular Design
The modular design of the ITS Test Block allows the user to specify a test switch with any number of contacts from 2 to 21. Fixed 10 and 14 pole switches waste space in the panel and give little flexibility in the ordering process. Eliminate the problem of wasted space and wasted contacts with a modular approach to test switch design.
Superior Electrical Properties
The use of high
quality conductive materials such as copper, silver and zinc give the
Test Block unique and superior electrical qualities. The ITS provides
an internal resistance of no more than 2 to 3 mΩ, reaching no
more than room temperature. This low resistance has minimal impact on
the electrical properties of the secondary circuits and is excellent
for use with highly sensitive digital relays and meters.
Clear and Intuitive Labeling
ITS labeling provides the user with multiple options for pole designation. To easily identify pole function, the ITS Test Block module has five labels per module. The front of the module has two and each remaining side has one. We offer custom printed labels and a range of colors. For more information see the ITS Labeling System.
Finger Safe Contacts
Each module of the ITS Test Block is achieves safety to the touch by limiting the amount of exposed metals. By housing the conductive material inside the plastic casing these metals are also less prone to damage and dust which greatly increases the contacts reliability.

Retrofit Test Block
Upgrading to the
latest in test switch technology is now even easier with the 10 pole
ITS retrofit Test
Block. This special version of the ITS Test Block includes adapters and
spacers which allow it to mount
inside the exact same panel cutout as 10 pole FT type test switches. No
drilling or cutting of the
existing panel is required and the original FT type dust cover can be
used with the retrofit Test Block
