New products in our pipeline
Secucontrol is now able to complement their product portfolio with new product developments which are able to further upgrade substation design worldwide. Three new products are already available (a, b, c). Another product is just being finalized right now (d) and even more products are around the corner to come.
a) Our ST Switch is designed as a replacement for the commonly used FT Switch. Both the finger-safe construction and the mature operating principle contribute to a much faster and safer testing procedure than it is possible with simpler test switches. Connection terminals are standard and intended to make cabling easy. Integrated status windows reveal an insight into the interior of the test switches and indicate whether the contacts are open or closed.
b) Our Leverage Test Plug (LTP) features a sophisticated leverage mechanism which makes the plug-in process of a test plug blindingly easy. The mechanism guarantees the plug to be properly aligned, before the plug fingers are inserted into the block. Canting is completely avoided and the load transmission of the lever facilitates an intrinsically effortless insertion of the plug fingers. Hence, the test technician does not need as much dexterity and is more able to focus on the actual testing procedure.
c) Our Long Test Block (LTB) is equipped with an elongated back which is intended to be flush with adjacent devices. In comparison to a displaced cabling in the back, attached cables can be shorter and preferably more aligned. At the same time, rack plates can be put tighter together and space can be saved for other equipment.
d) Our Drawout Case Paddle (DOC) is the next product in our development pipeline to be released. The DOC is a test plug for General Electric (G.E.) type drawout case relays and meters. It allows for an easy insertion into the drawout case in order to redirect the circuits to the front, while not yet opening any circuits. Also, it provides a finger-safe interface where operations like measurement of currents and voltages can be performed easily without changing the wiring.
